- Clinical details you choose to share: age, gender, medical condition and treatment notes
- Appointment preferences such as date, time slot and service required
- Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used only to keep the site working
How we use your information
We use your information to confirm and deliver appointments, assign a suitably qualified physiotherapist, maintain clinical records, issue invoices, and contact you about your treatment. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your clinical information for advertising.
Sharing
Your details are shared only with the treating physiotherapist and the administrative staff who coordinate your visit. We may disclose information where required by law, or with your explicit consent when coordinating with your referring doctor or insurer.
Data security
Enquiry and appointment submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored on access-controlled systems. Clinical notes are kept confidential in line with professional physiotherapy practice standards.
Retention
Clinical records are retained for the period required by professional and legal obligations. Website enquiries that do not result in treatment are deleted within 24 months.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your records, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete data that we are not legally required to keep. Write to care@thephysiopath.com and we will respond within 30 days.
